These Terms of Service govern your use of the Clarus desktop app and related cloud services. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Scope

The service enables users to upload audio or subtitle files, process content with cloud APIs and AI models, and receive translated subtitle output.

2. User Responsibilities

  • You must have the legal right to upload and process submitted content.
  • You must not upload unlawful, infringing, abusive, or malicious content.
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before publication or distribution.

3. License to Process

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and process it solely to operate and improve the service you request.

4. Credits, Billing, and Refunds

Paid features may use a credit-based model. Pricing, credit conversion, and refund eligibility are shown in the app at purchase time. Abuse, fraud, or chargeback misuse may result in suspension.

5. AI Output Disclaimer

AI results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for sensitive use. We do not warrant perfect accuracy, and you should validate output for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical contexts.

6. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations, security risks, legal requirements, or non-payment. You may stop using the service at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from service use.
